CHICAGO, IL USA – Thursday, October 17, 2002 – Michael Green, current President of A.W.T. World Trade, Inc. announced today the formation of the A.W.T. World Trade Group. The group will currently be comprised of three individual companies: A.W.T. World Trade, Inc., American M&M Screen Printing Equipment Co., and Graphic Parts International, Inc. Michael Green will serve as President over the entire group of companies.

“A.W.T. World Trade, Inc.’s primary mission has always been to provide the screen printer with the most extensive line of high quality screen printing equipment and supplies. The recent consolidation of the A.W.T. and American M&M product lines enables us to further that mission, and enhance our current products with additional, technologically advanced equipment.
“The A.W.T. World Trade Group has been formed to facilitate the seamless cohesion of all three individual companies, processes, systems and facilities,” said Green, “and to help our customers and the entire screen print industry better understand the relationship and purpose of A.W.T. World Trade, Inc., American M&M, and Graphic Parts International.”

The A.W.T. World Trade Group consists of:

A.W.T. World Trade, Inc.
A complete manufacturing source for screen print equipment, supplies, parts and rebuilt  machines, A.W.T. was the first to develop and integrate into their equipment Worldwide  Remote Diagnostics, reducing down time and repair costs.

The A.W.T. product lines include manual and automatic textile and graphic presses; gas, electric and UV dryers; racks and drying cabinets; screen cleaning and exposing units. It also includes vacuum beds, frames, squeegees/squeegee sharpeners, color mixers.

In addition to their extensive equipment line, A.W.T. also manufactures hundreds of screen printing supplies; from fabrics and frame adhesives, block-out and sealants, scoop coaters, brushes, and registration pins; to a variety of process control tools, pallets, squeegee blades and handles, emulsion removers, as well as hundreds of other items.

American M&M Screen Printing Equipment Company
The American M&M product line is well-known and respected worldwide with such reliable, quality products as the Cameo, Daytona, Hercules and Viking machines. They revolutionized textile screen printing with such equipment as the Rototex, Arrow Multiprinter, and Centurion Presses, and Texair dryers.

Graphic Parts International, Inc.
Graphic Parts International (G.P.I) is a premier manufacturer of replacement parts, remanufacturing services and technical support for the screen printing industry. They offer replacement parts for American M&M, Sias, Harco, and National equipment, as well as many other foreign and domestic brands, such as M&R, Svecia, Tuf and others. G.P.I. also can provide hundreds of other screen print products such as squeegees, motors, floodbars, exposing unit blankets, timers, and much more.

A.W.T.'s roots can be traced back to American Screen Printing Equipment Co., founded in 1949 by Sheldon and Melvin Green, father and uncle, respectively, of A.W.T. president Michael Green, who also became part owner of the company. American soon became the major industry leader as it grew into the largest screen printing equipment and supply manufacturer in the world.
